The Botanical Conservation Office at Royal Botanical Gardens

Royal Botanical Gardens Centre, located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada is the home base for the Canadian Botanical Conservation Network. In 1995, Royal Botanical Gardens created the Botanical Conservation Office in partnership with Environment Canada, with the express purpose of developing a national network of botanical gardens and related organizations interested in conservation and biodiversity in Canada.

The Canadian Botanical Conservation Network has emerged as that national network. The development and operation of the network is greatly facilitated by in-kind support from its host institution, Royal Botanical Gardens.
