Sean James, Landscape Contractor, Fernridge Landscaping

A balanced presentation of LID concepts including bioretention gardens, benefits of native plants, habitat creation, permeable surfacing and how all these concepts improve our quality of life and, in many cases, lower our costs and maintenance in the long run. Areas of focus will also include limiting of invasive plants, reducing areas covered by turfgrass, the benefits of tree planting and boulevard gardens. Helping folks understand that there are many, little beneficial things they can do to help the planet is something landscapers have an ability and an obligation to do.

Rob Naraj, Nursery grower, Sheridan Nurseries

Denis Flanagan, Industry Representative, Landscape Ontario
