The Patrick W.
Colgan Lectureship

Dr. Patrick Colgan
was Royal Botanical Gardens Director of Research and Natural
Lands from 2000 to 2004. Dr. Colgan died in 2004, and in his memory,
his family and friends have established the P. W. Colgan Lectureship
Fund at Royal Botanical Gardens. The purpose of the lectureship is to
help support a series of presentations on science in the public
interest at Royal Botanical Gardens.
In 2010 we are
pleased to have Dr. Thomas Homer-Dixon holding the P. W. Colgan
Lectureship as part of our symposium on sustainability and horticulture.
