This September, world-renowned flower show Fleurs de Villes arrives at Royal Botanical Gardens Canada with their stunning floral exhibition, Fleurs de Villes Downton Abbey – a spectacular fresh floral celebration inspired by the famed period drama, created by talented floral artists from Southern Ontario.

From September 12 – 21, step into the world of Downton Abbey and be transported to early 20th-century England, where the aristocratic Crawley family and their devoted staff navigate a rapidly changing era. Marvel at a collection of Fleurs de Villes’ signature fresh floral mannequins inspired by the series’ unforgettable characters and iconic period fashion, from Lady Mary’s sophisticated beaded gowns and statement hats, to the impeccably tailored uniforms of the household staff.

  • Tickets are non-refundable and final sale. After a purchase is complete, the tickets are the property of the ticket holder, and RBG will be unable to accommodate any date or time changes.
  • Garden admission discounts and coupons are not applicable to this ticketed event.
  • RBG Members must present tickets along with membership card upon entry.

Tickets purchased to the winter exhibit are final sale and non-refundable. Tickets for this experience can be transferred to someone else if you can no longer attend the experience. Please keep your tickets and confirmation: it is proof of your purchase and allows entry into the experience.

Take a journey into the past as Dr. Galbraith connects the early visions for the RBG to an inspiring trip by T.B. McQueston in 1924 to visit Kew, RBG Edinburgh and Highclere Castle.

Tickets

This is a time-ticketed exhibition and pre-registration is required. Tickets will only be available at the door when capacity allows.

What's Included?

Your ticket provides entry to the Fleurs de Villes – Downton Abbey exhibit and also provides access to Hendrie Park. Additional admission required to access RBG’s Rock Garden (~2km down the road).

Additional activities may be available for an additional cost. See the full calendar to learn more about what’s happening during your visit.

Food, drink, and purchases at Shop at the Gardens are available for additional costs.

Arrival / Entry

When planning your visit, please note that you may arrive at any time within your timeslot (indicated on your ticket). Different arrival times allows RBG to offer a better overall experience by reducing lineups. You can expect to spend approximately 1 hour at this experience. When you arrive at RBG Centre (680 Plains Road W., Burlington) for your start time you will be greeted by our staff team who will check you in and direct you to the exhibit.

You will be required to present your pre-purchased tickets upon arrival, either printed out or digitally on your personal device. Each ticket will be scanned. The confirmation receipt is not a ticket. Your tickets were sent to you as an attachment in the confirmation e-mail you received after booking.

Directions & Parking

This event is held inside RBG Centre at 680 Plains Road W. Burlington Ontario. Parking is included, available in the large lot at RBG Centre.  Additional parking is available in the smaller Cherry Hill parking lot (across the street), though this will require crossing the street and a short walk to RBG Centre for entry.

RBG Centre is located along bus routes for Burlington Transit, with stops a short distance from the entrance.

Accessibility

RBG Centre is accessible, with a ramp and elevators. Accessible parking spaces are available outside RBG Centre.

Wheelchairs are available on a first-come basis and may not be reserved in advance. It is recommended that guests bring their own wheelchairs.
