Teacher's Resources for Project Paradise Marsh Restoration Project

With the help of many partners, Royal Botanical Gardens is leading an ambitious, multi-year project to restore wetland habitat at the western end of Lake Ontario. Project Paradise involves many different components including exclusion of carp from the marsh with the help of a unique Fishway structure, planting wetland stock, and other habitat improvement for fish and wildlife. Along with field trips focusing on the project, we are also providing access to water quality monitoring data and vegetation monitoring reports for teachers wishing to use local scientific information in classroom applications.
