Meetings and Presentations

Get a change of scenery with off-site meetings for groups as small as 20. Enjoy snacks and meals from on-site catering, a selection of room sizes and views, and built-in AV capabilities. Focus on the content of your meeting, and we’ll do the rest.

Executive Meeting Room

Located on the second floor of RBG Centre, this intimate boardroom space is perfect for your smaller meeting.

Café Annex

Located just off the Greenhouse Café, the newly renovated Annex is perfect for your smaller luncheon, meeting or breakout room.

Rooms 1 and 2

This second-floor meeting space can be split into two break-out rooms, or left open for a larger meeting. It includes a small alcove with space for check-in and coat racks.

Conferences and Seminars

Stun your attendees with a corporate event at the gardens! The foyer, McQuesten Theatre, mezzanine, auditorium and all meeting rooms combined, offer over 17,000 square feet of functional space for trade shows and conferences year-round at RBG Centre, or enjoy the perfect garden views at the rejuvenation Rock Garden.

Auditorium

Our largest space, the auditorium is an excellent choice for your full-sized corporate event. The room includes a divider to split the space into two smaller events, room for a risen stage, and is adjacent to indoor and outdoor cocktail/foyer spaces.

Rock Garden Visitor Centre

The Great Room at the David Braley & Nancy Gordon Rock Garden is an award-winning, state-of-the art facility with a breathtaking view of the gardens through floor-to-ceiling windows, a look-out deck and patio.

Banquets and Corporate Dinners

Enjoy your dinner, banquet social event in a one-of-a-kind venue! Royal Botanical Gardens offers corporate venue spaces and plated on-site catering for groups from 50 to 350.

Auditorium

Our largest space, the auditorium is an excellent choice for your full-sized event. The room includes a divider to split the space into two smaller events, and is adjacent to two cocktail/foyer spaces (Royal Court - outdor, and McQuesten Theatre - indoor).

Catering

All catering is provided by RBG’s exclusive on-site caterer. Looking for something specific? Please get in touch with your request.

Bar service is also available, with all venues being fully licensed.

Parking and Transit

All event bookings include free parking in the large lots at RBG Centre or Rock Garden (depending on where your event is held). Both locations are also accessible by bus via Burlington Transit. Learn more on the Directions & Parking page.

What's Included in the Rental Fee?

Your facility fee includes the room for the duration of your event, parking for your attendees, standard table and chair setups, and access to the gardens for your guests.

AV services are available in all our venue spaces for an additional cost.

Table linens rentals can be organized by your coordinator, or included in catering packages.

Location and Directions

Royal Botanical Gardens consists of over 1,100 hectares of property on the border of Hamilton and Burlington Ontario.

The majority of the venue spaces are located at RBG Centre, 680 Plains Road West, Burlington. The Great Room at the Rock Garden is located at 1185 York Boulevard Hamilton (a few kilometers down the road from RBG Centre. Both venues are minutes from the 403 and QEW.
