It’s always tea time! Join us at the Tea House in Hendrie Park for a whimsical afternoon tea experience. Delight in a menu of “Eat Me” treats, “Drink Me” teas, and a variety of sandwich selections, where every bite is a journey through our Bloomland. 3 seatings each day: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 1 to 2:30 p.m., 3 to 4:30p.m.

Booking Policy: The Mad Hatter waits for none, so arrive on time to join the fun! Late by fifteen? Beware, oh dear, as your time may dwindle or disappear. Should you fall ill, or plans go astray, call us quick—please don’t delay! No refunds for those who simply don’t show, for the tea must go on as you surely know.

  • Tea Towers are pre-ordered/paid upon booking. Full beverage and bar menu available for purchase on the day of your experience.
  • Reservations only; no walk-ins or take-out orders available.
  • Online reservations available for groups up to 4.
    • Have a group of 5-8? Space may be available in the 11:30 or 2:30 seatings. After checking availability for a smaller group online, please inquire by phone at 905-527-1158 ext. 330 at least 48h prior to your preferred visit date.
  • An automatic 18% gratuity will be applied at the time of booking. This goes directly to the service staff on site that day.
  • The teahouse is exclusively offering the Mad Hatter Tea Party menu during this time period. Standard reservations will resume in April.

Location

The tea house is located within Hendrie Park; enter via RBG Centre, 680 Plains Road W. and walk through the outdoor garden (approximately 200m) to the Teahouse.

Parking is available on-site, included in your visit.

Accessibility

The Tea House at the Turner Pavilion in Hendrie Park is fully accessible.

Access to Hendrie Park is through the main doors of RBG Centre, descending through the Atrium via stairs or an elevator. It is an approximately 200m walk from the front doors through the garden to the Teahouse. Benches are available along the route for resting if needed.

Accessible parking spaces are available outside RBG Centre.

Group Size

The Teahouse is a cozy venue with very limited space, and as such can only accommodate small groups.

Alice in Bloomland
