Private, Guided Tours
Our guided tours open the world of Royal Botanical Gardens to even the most frequent visitor. Our knowledgeable volunteers take your group of 15 or more on a relaxed and pleasurable journey where you learn about the rich history, gardens and trails that make Royal Botanical Gardens so special.
- Cost: Garden Admission applies (discounted rate available) + $195 per guide (max 15 participants per guide)
- Tours typically last 1 to 1.5 hours, our knowledgeable volunteers take your group on a relaxed and pleasurable journey where you learn about the rich history, gardens and trails that make Royal Botanical Gardens so special.

Rose Garden

Located in Hendrie Park, the rejuvenated rose garden is an innovative, sustainable, and inspiring experience, the quintessential rose garden for Canada’s largest botanical garden. The rose garden features a spectacular display of roses and companion plants intended to extend seasonal interest.
Rock Garden

1-Hour Tour. Open Year Round
Opened to visitors in 1932, the historic Rock Garden is considered the birthplace of Royal Botanical Gardens. Following a significant rejuvenation, the David Braley and Nancy Gordon Rock Garden reopened in 2016 to embrace sustainable trends in garden design and management while respecting the integrity of its heritage setting. Bold swaths of brilliant perennials provide sweeps of inspiring colour and texture throughout all seasons.

Cancellations
If you must cancel your group tour, please email your group tour booking contact. Cancellations made at least 30 days before the scheduled tour date are eligible for a refund. If your tour is less than 30 days away, we will work with you to reschedule to another available date
Group Guidelines
Upon arrival, your group leader must check in with RBG Centre staff to confirm guest count for the day and receive group stamp. If your group is larger than 15 people, your group will be divided accordingly, in order to maximize the visitor experience. It is recommended that guests wear appropriate shoes and clothing for active outdoor walking.
