Culinary Corner
We all need to eat. Through sharing food and meals, people are brought together in a way unlike any other.
Choosing what we eat can positively affect the environment, especially when you opt for locally grown, sustainability-sourced food, but taking it even further and. consuming a plant-rich diet is good for your health AND a very meaningful way to shrink your carbon footprint. According to Project Drawdown, shifting to a plant-rich diet is the fourth most impactful action we can all take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that are driving climate change. And a solution that is fairly simple for individuals to adopt.
Give it a try! Start with incorporating at least one meat-free meal per week, or go for a full meat-free day and challenge yourself to move forward from there. Looking for some inspiration? Browse our selection of amazing vegetarian and vegan recipes below.
